Condar's giving back

Condar's cotton mask donations

Condar strives to put our customers first and provide superior service, because we genuinely care about people. When the coronavirus pandemic struck we saw an opportunity to help our local community. Our experienced cut-and-sew department began to produce masks for distribution to our employees, local sheriff's department, St. Luke's hospital, and many others.

The mask making endeavor has been a team effort. All fabric and supplies have been donated by Condar's two Vice Presidents, and of course our owner and President Mike McCue has generously allowed our seamstress and fabric cutter to dedicate their time to this project. The mask designs are based on patterns readily available online - with modifications to include nose clips and elastic straps with sliding beads to allow for a better fit. Condar's designer, Tiffany worked out the designs to use and taught Condar's employees how to make the masks.

Along with the rest of the world, we hope that the coronavirus outbreak is contained soon. But while the need is still present, we are continuing to make our colorful, breathable masks. We are glad to do our small part to make our community a safer place.
